Eureka Resources Commissions Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) Distillation Technology at the Standing Stone, PA Facility

As of August 2018, Eureka has completed an expansion of the Standing Stone, PA facility, primarily comprised of the addition of a NOMAD mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) distillation unit. The MVR unit, and it’s associated dedicated pre-treatment process line, allows for Eureka to more efficiently manage a wider range of incoming oil and gas brines to the facility, most notably brines with a total dissolved solids (TDS) concentration below the feed spec for the MVR crystallizer that is already in operation at the facility. This modification improves the level of service provided to our customers and provides for more efficient operations.
